Nick and Kelly's Wedding

We had lots of fun family time at our nephew's wedding last weekend in Oklahoma. This is me and my sisters Kelle and Kathy at the rehearsal dinner. Thanks to Kathy for taking this and so many of the other photos on this blog post. I must admit I was really lazy at the wedding since I knew she had a far superior camera and far superior energy when it came to taking pictures!
The wedding was Troy's chance to meet a whole lot of Posses at once. It was a lot of new people and she was a champ. Everyone loved her, which was no surprise. Here she is with my dad.
John and my dad at the rehearsal dinner.
Brad and Kathy at the rehearsal dinner. Brad left the dinner early to drive to Tulsa (about an hour away) to pick up Peter. Mary couldn't make it the wedding (she's still in school) but all of the other 11 cousins/grandkids were there.
Typical Kelle, with Brad and me at the rehearsal dinner.
The wedding was held at a lovely retreat center in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. It was great to have Peter (even if he is a dorky photo bomber), Troy, and John there with us.
The happy bride and groom - Kelly and Nick - walking up the aisle. As you can see, the wedding was held outdoors. It was a very pretty setting and even though we were all convinced it was going to rain, the weather cooperated all weekend long.
My parents and most of the younger group after the wedding - Peter, Emily, Mom, Dad, Sarah, Erin, Jack, John, Troy, Annie, and Connor.
The Harrison contingent. We missed having Mary there but we were happy that both the boys and Troy could be there.
Peter, John, and my brother Steve (father of the groom) at the reception.
Kelle and Brad eating the super delicious cake at the reception.
I guess they had enough cake to fuel all this rocking and rolling!
Troy and Kathy had fun on the dance floor too.
And then it was my mom's turn on the dance floor.
She got all the grandkids to dance - even John!
She rocked the place!
And afterwards got a big hug from Peter!
After the reception, we gathered at our bed and breakfast for the "after party." From there we met up at a restaurant with the rest of the group and had a relaxing evening.
By the next day it was time to head home again. (But not before we stopped at Culver's on the route, which is why my mom and the boys are smiling.) Peter joined us for the drive and spent the night in St. Louis before flying back to D.C. on Monday. Today my parents flew back to California, so everyone's back home. It was a fun family weekend at a beautiful wedding.
