Full House

Last weekend we welcomed Troy's parents, who are in town for a couple of weeks after living in Vietnam since January.
On Sunday Sirius brought John and Troy over to watch the Packers. This dog is serious about his team.
On Monday night we watched the Stanford women win the game against UConn in overtime and break UConn's 47-game win streak. Mostly we watched to see Mary playing in the band. The basketball band is so small that we saw her each time they showed the band - and of course I was ready with my camera while Brad had his finger on the slow motion button of the remote!
On Tuesday night we all met at a local craft beer store for a happy hour featuring Witty Femme, the beer that Troy (and John) brewed in collaboration with 2nd Shift, a local craft beer brewery. (That's it in Troy's hand.) Of course her mom and dad were happy to share in the evening. The happy hour was for Femme Ferment, the craft beer group for women that Troy's in and that the beer was brewed for.
We were glad to have my brother Steve stop in as well. He was in town for business.
On Wednesday night we all had dinner at the house, so Allie took advantage of some quiet time to share her thoughts with John.
Steve joined us on Wednesday too, and it was great to have seven of us around the table. Now he's back home in Kansas City and we're awaiting our next visitor, Mary, who gets home on Sunday night, followed by Peter who arrives on Wednesday night.
