If you think maybe it's your imagination that this blog has turned into one Flashback Friday after another with nothing in-between, I think you're onto something. But don't despair, I plan to get back in the groove soon and post something other than just Flashbacks. I've been having some technical difficulties with my photos - that I'm slowing resolving - though I struck gold the other day when I found one of our lost cameras! (It's the small one, but I'll take what I can get.) But I digress. Tomorrow it is exactly 13 years since the above picture was taken. If you read the sled, it says it all: "Zakopane 2012." For their winter break, the kids and I spent a few days learning how to ski in Zakopane, which is in the Tatra Mountains of Poland. It was beautiful, and by now you might feel you've heard the story before, as I think I find a reason to blog about it most years in February. I suppose it's one of those good memories I want to keep remembering. (And by the way, in case you're wondering, the Polar Bear is fake, but the two Polish Tatra Sheepdogs are quite real.)
