Come What May

With Brad's job search still ongoing, we're not sure if we're staying in St. Louis or leaving, but one thing we do know for sure is that as long as we're here . . . . . we'll be gardening! Last weekend Brad built these two beds, which we'll install behind the garage and fill with vegetables. It won't be a huge garden, but I think just having a garden will do both of us a lot of good. (So for those of you who miss all my gardening posts  . . . . . haha  . . . . . they'll be back.)
Speaking of spring, it's really springing around here. The early daffodils are blooming. (These are in our yard.) We also have some darker yellow ones that should bloom this weekend. It's so nice to see them around town. (And so early in this part of the country - I think in past years I've mentioned that when we lived in Racine our neighbors taught us that we could count on the daffodils blooming for the Kentucky Derby - which is in May - so yes, even though it's our third spring in St. Louis this still feels really early!!)
