In March of 1989, at the age of six months, Peter was still enjoying the perks of being the only grandchild on my side of the family. From this picture, it looks like those perks included excessive cheek pinching, abundant holding, and generally just too much attention. Thank goodness John and Mary came along to add a dose of reality to his life by teaching him how to share and schooling him in what life is like as a not-only-child. And speaking of sharing, we're so glad we get to share another birthday with my mom. Today she turns 79 - Happy Birthday to one of the Harrison kids' two favorite grandmas!!
