Tomorrow Peter turns 27 — so this Flashback is dedicated to him — and he gets to share it with his godfather Uncle Kelly. This is because today Brad and my mom and I are driving up to Iowa to celebrate Uncle Kelly's 90th birthday at a destination birthday party, with him and my Aunt Joyce and a whole lot of relatives. Here are Peter and Uncle Kelly at Kelly and Joyce's house in Rancho Bernardo in 1989 - on the day Uncle Kelly turned 64 and three days before Peter turned one. We'll miss spending this weekend with both of the birthday guys, but glad we at least get one out of two!
