Family

Dad would have loved hanging out with everybody this past week. We were all there—all the kids, grandkids, spouses—Dad was the only one who was missing. But he was in all of our hearts and minds so really, I suppose his presence was the biggest of all. I'm not going to try to put these pictures in any order or give much explanation except to say who's in them, so it's basically a mishmash from a week that was both sad and happy, as well as hectic and contemplative, when we were all together and remembering Dad. Above, of course, are Peter and Jessa.
Peter and Jessa with Steve's wife Amy and everybody's favorite Collie: Simba.
Brad took Peter and Jessa on a tour of his office and Peter made one of my all-time favorite selfies.
Sibling love.
Most of us together, in Long Beach.
A different most of us together, at lunch in Corona.
Mary and Grandma.
John and Troy in Temecula.
Brad "the baby whisperer" with my parents' one and only great-grandchild, Windsor.
In Temecula: our three plus Troy, along with Kathy's son Brian and my Uncle Kelly and Aunt Joyce.
Peter and Kathy.
 Mary and Steve's daughter, Annie.
