This weekend we're gathering in Temecula to say goodbye to my dad. So I've been pulling out some pictures for tomorrow's private memorial and I found this one. It's from July of 2010 when we traveled to Beaver Lake in Arkansas to celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary with all the kids and grandkids. We met Mom and Dad at the airport in Dallas, flew with them to Arkansas, and drove to our rental house together. We had a great reunion together. We'll have the same people together this weekend, only with one very important person missing. Though I know he'll be there in all our hearts.
