We got back from John and Troy's wedding on Wednesday night, and I haven't had a chance to write a post about it yet. But after the month of Flashback Fridays dedicated to John, I wanted to write a post about a fantastic sister and brother (seen here in Warsaw on Peter's birthday in September of 2001), who were the Best Man and Best Woman over the weekend. These two were superb supports for John, and at the reception they gave a heartfelt toast (that also had its light moments, not unsurprisingly). We are so blessed to have three such rock solid kids, and I can't find words that sufficiently express how wonderful it makes me feel to know that they love each other so much. I'm not at all surprised that John has chosen a rock solid spouse and that Peter and Mary have such a rock solid girlfriend and boyfriend, but as these things are not a given, I'm still incredibly thankful. I've been saying it over and over for the past few days, and I'll likely keep saying it, but I have so much gratitude in my heart. It was truly a magical week in St. Louis.
