Kathy flew in for the weekend so last Friday I joined her in Temecula with Mom. (Brad was in Baltimore for work—and a dinner with Mary and Andy—which you wouldn't know if I didn't tell you as there is no photographic evidence!) A visit to Temecula isn't complete without Simba. He seemed glad to have extra people around.
We had a fun weekend hanging out together. We did a lot of nothing, mostly eating and shopping.
On Saturday we drove down to Rancho Bernardo to celebrate Uncle Kelly's 93rd birthday. Kelle brought lunch and a crowd.
This is the crowd. We had a nice afternoon and afterwards we had dinner together in Temecula before the Reckingers headed home.
It may look like we're at a winery but we're actually at the mall. We had a nice lunch but came away empty-handed after shopping.
Meanwhile, John and Troy spent the weekend in Boston at the wedding of their college friends Christen and Matt. It's hard to see but John's wearing his Tufts Jumbo tie. It's the one time when elephants are stylish.
