Milestones

Peter turned 30 last week and Jessa surprised him with a bucket list trip to see his favorite sports team, Liverpool FC, play a Premier League match against Southampton. He didn't know about it until the day before they were scheduled to leave and it was a BIG surprise.
Peter didn't seem shy about taking advantage of photo opps around the stadium, which practically brought a tear to my eye. (I must have exerted enough parental influence over him afterall.)
As you can see, the photo opps never stop.
But let's not forgot the master organizer and keeper of the huge birthday secret!
An added bonus was the late addition of Peter and Jessa's good friend Mike, who flew over from DC to surprise the birthday boy. These two have been watching soccer together since college, so it seemed especially fitting that he'd be there for Peter's inaugural Liverpool match.
Speaking of which .....
It looked like the ambience did not disappoint, and also Liverpool won 3-0.
These two enjoyed some local treats.
The trip also allowed them to spend a day or so in London before and after the big day in Liverpool. Once back in London, they enjoyed some local culture at The British Museum.
And also some local beer.
And when they got home, Peaches was waiting for them.
But Peter wasn't the only Harrison with a milestone last week. John took 1st Place in a 10k, proving that the apex of his running career was not, as we'd always assumed, his middle school years on the Warsaw cross country team!
