Today is Brad's birthday. He went on a hike and had a great time. (I stayed home as I have a foot injury.) He grilled burgers for dinner and I made a strawberry cake. I haven't tried to make a strawberry cake in years. It was delicious and it found us saying words I never thought we'd ever utter: "thank you Paula Deen." It is of course another week in quarantine. They're starting to meld together. But we're healthy and we have food to eat and we live in a beautiful setting.
