Flashback Friday

In March of 2013, before she was a triathlete and before I had returned to running regularly, Troy and I ran a 5 mile St. Patrick's Day race in St. Louis. It was a silly thing for me to do without proper preparation, and many months of painful plantar fasciitis later, I realized how foolish I had been. But the event itself was fun and now that I'm running again, I'd love to go to a big race with friends and family and do something like this. I'll have to settle for another virtual run taking place at the end of next month, and look forward to a traditional race once Covid is in the rearview mirror.
