Nine years ago, in January of 2001, Peter (those are his legs) was just the right size to help Grandpa Poss plug in earphones to the back of the TV set at Grandma and Grandpa's house in Temecula, California. Back then he was 12 years old and a month away from embarking on our family adventure of living in Poland and Japan. Now he's 21 years old, and about to embark on his own adventure. Tomorrow night he leaves for his semester abroad in Krakow, Poland. He flies to London, where he'll begin his monthlong journey of backpacking through Europe en route to Poland. (His semester doesn't begin until the end of February.) We are all excited for him (okay, I'll admit that I'm a little nervous) and he is really looking forward to his trip.

Flashback Friday
