Greetings From Maui

Brad and I arrived in Hawaii on Sunday night. It's beautiful here. Yesterday I took a few photos to share.



This is the view of the beach at our resort. We're in Wailea, on the west side of the island.



The beach is busy with lots of people, but just a few steps away we found quiet spots like this. There is a walkway along the ocean that runs for over two miles, and the walkway goes right by our resort. This picture is from the walkway. We walked it yesterday and today.



From the balcony of our room we have this beautiful view. We've been sleeping to the sounds of the surf. Last night there was a luau on this lawn below our balcony, so we got some unexpected entertainment.



For the past two afternoons I've been catching up on my reading at the pool. This was the view from my chair yesterday. Yep, it's really relaxing.
