Let's Go Cards!

Last Friday night the Dodgers were in town. As you probably know, the Cardinals won and advanced to the World Series. We were fortunate to get to go to the game. John and Lloyd (Troy's dad) went with us.

Good fans that we are (and much to Peter's deep disappointment), we waved our rally towels in support of the home team.

It was a super fun game. (When your team has two big innings, the other team is scoreless, and a win clinches a trip to the World Series ..... what else can it be but fun?)

There was quite a bit of excitement after the Cardinals won. And now tonight the World Series starts in Boston. The Series will come to Saint Louis for games on Saturday, Sunday, and (if needed) Monday. Brad and I are so excited to have tickets for Saturday night. This year we got to go to our first-ever playoff games, and now a first-ever World Series game. It's been a good year for baseball at our house!
