On the weekend of October 6, 2001, we hosted these three high school boys at our house. They were in town for a weekend jazz festival at our kids' school in Warsaw. Mikey, Faysel, and Vasco were from the American Community School in Beirut. They were really nice and we enjoyed having them stay with us. They all brought us gifts, and to this day we keep a lovely inlaid cedar box and a set of Lebanese prayer beads in our living room that one of them brought.
