Two Weddings and a Shower

Over Labor Day weekend, John and Troy were invited to two weddings of two dear friends in two different cities so ..... they divided and conquered. John went to Atlanta to the wedding of his college friend Jack. Jack's new wife is of Pakistani heritage, so the friends of the groom dressed as above and they also performed an impressive dance together. (I don't feel I'm at liberty to post the dance video, but I will just say that all Harrisons have it on their phones so if you're interested, feel free to inquire.)
The wedding was a two-day affair. The first day was a traditional Pakistani celebration. The second day was the actual wedding and everyone wore Western clothing. John and his group of friends took this fun picture. I love that they all stay so close.
While John was in Atlanta, Troy was in Chicago for the wedding of her college friend Eliana. The weather looked fantastic and I must admit I was a bit jealous that she got to be in a favorite place of mine. From all reports, it was another superb wedding.
This past weekend, my mom and I went down the street from her house in San Juan Capistrano to the wedding shower of Erin, our niece and goddaughter.  It was a vintage theme and everybody did their part to ham it up.
The decorations and cookies my sister made were outstanding. I could fill an entire post with photos of them all, but this one is pretty representational.
Erin wore a super vintage wedding dress, and her grandma called herself the Dowager all afternoon. These two are definitely related!
Me and Kelle with our matching skirts. Who wore it best?!
There were a lot of lovely gifts, and this one definitely stood out.
The Poss contingent: mother-of-the-bride Kelle, bride-to-be Erin, my mom, bride's sisters Sarah and Emily, and me. I'm excited for the Thanksgiving wedding and having all the Harrisons here to celebrate!
