Brad got home early tonight, so he and Peter enjoyed watching some MLB-TV together.
The ongoing decision of which color to choose for which room. Brad has been painting samples all over the house. The dark green is for the dining room; the lighter green is our bedroom; one of the two darker golds is for the family room, and the big question is which of the lighter golds is for the hallways and entry way. Mary isn't here to cast her vote, but amazingly Brad "knows" what she'd pick. Coincidentally, it's the same as his vote, which is
not the same as mine. Should I be suspicious????!
We ate dinner on the deck tonight and watched deer grazing in the backyard in the wetlands just behind our fence. This picture was taken from the deck with my zoom lens. There were a total of three deer in the backyard. It's funny how their tails are constantly swatting. Peter threw our corn cobs over the fence, so I have a feeling they'll be back.
While the deer were here, Allie and Kia both suspected something was up, but they never quite figured out there were other animals lurking just beyond where they could see. But Allie did have fun playing catch with Peter, and here she is between throws, anxiously awaiting the next time she gets to chase the ball.
We've had a great visit with Peter. After dinner we took him to the Woodbury ice-cream stand for dessert. (It was
packed!) He leaves on the train early tomorrow to get back to DC in time for his weekly Friday night babysitting job.

If you are looking for outside votes, I would go for the lighter color in the hallway.
