Tour de Tribury

If I had enough space, the title of this blog post would be "Tour de Tribury.  Starring:  Mary Harrison.  With:  Brad and Sue Harrison."  Mary gets top billing because she was usually in front of me and the camera was in my hands.  This was a fundraising ride that goes for 25 miles.  (It's called Tour de Tribury because it goes through Southbury, Woodbury, and Middlebury.)  I rode in it last year and had a blast, so this year Mary and Brad came along too.  We had a great morning!
The star of this post is showing off her biking shorts before the race.  They are mine and I've had them for over 20 years, and she digs the logo. (Can you tell?)  She's also wearing the ride shirt.
I can't think of enough superlatives or adjectives to describe how splendid of a fall day it was.  So I'll let the pictures tell that part of the story.
See what I mean?
This is at the first water stop.  There were two water stops and believe me, each one was greatly appreciated, and the food and water savored.  (Brad gets the photo credit for this one.)
There is a big pond on the right that you can kind of see through the trees.
Even celebrities need water.  This is water stop number two, which is at Three Rivers Park in Woodbury, and which is not all that far from our house.  (The route took us within a couple of blocks from home.)
