Christmas Concert

This year Mary sings with a community choir called the Waterbury Chorale.  She loves the music they sing and they have a really good director.  Last night they had a concert at the Palace Theater in Waterbury.  It was a beautiful night of Christmas music.  I videotaped two of the songs, which are at the bottom of this post.
I know it's not polite to take photos during performances, but . . . . . okay, I have no excuse.  Mary is kind of blurry (about four people from the right, in the third row up), but hopefully you get the idea.  There are 96 people in the choir and she's the only high schooler.
Above and below:  after the concert.  The flowers are from Mary's friend Meryl and her mom, who attended the concert with us.
Mary and Meryl at McDonald's, where we went for dessert after the concert.  It was the only place we could find open at 10:30 on a Saturday night.  (Welcome to rural Connecticut . . . . )

This one is Deck the Halls.

And this is the Hallelujah Chorus.  Please excuse my poor video skills.
