Everybody's home! Officer Peter didn't have any time for rest or relaxation yesterday. After we picked him up from the train we went straight to dinner, then to watch Mary's high school boys' basketball team play a home game. This is Brad, Peter, and John at the game. (Mary was in the student section.)
Our Christmas Eve dinner menu is Southern BBQ, so Brad and John got up early to get the brisket on the grill, where it's been slow cooking ever since.
Today Allie likes to hang out near the grill. I wonder why?
John's making BBQ beans from scratch and they've been in the oven all day.
