With Mary's spring break just one week away, we're starting to get in the mood. But Mother Nature, unfortunately, is not. Here in Connecticut it's been overcast, cold, and damp for much of the spring. This weather reminds me of a spring break 10 years ago, just after we had moved to Warsaw, when we spent the week being tourists in our new city. This is the kids in front of Wilanow Palace which, it now seems hard to believe, was just a few blocks from our house. The weather in this picture is pretty much what the weather is like here right now. (Take your weather cues from Peter and Mary, who look chilly. John is never cold, which is why he looks so comfortable.)
