On Saturday night, Brad, Mary, and I went to Yale, which is about an hour from here. Yale's women's volleyball team was hosting a tournament, and we got to see Yale, Utah, Colgate, and Boston College play. It was a good night of volleyball.
Mary and Brad at the volleyball tournament. The next day, Mary went to New Milford (a town next to us) and played in a 10-hour (recreational) volleyball tournament of her own.
Mary and me at the volleyball tournament. We met a family in the stands whose daughter is on Yale's team, and their daughter went to high school outside of Milwaukee, at Homestead High School. It was fun to find a Wisconsin connection!
On Sunday, John and his girlfriend Troy came for a visit. It was great to see them both, and John hadn't been home since Mary's graduation, so Allie was especially happy!
Of course we couldn't let John visit without asking him to do some grilling for us. He made some delicious grilled chicken.
