This weekend we were treated to a visit from our good friends from Iowa, Sue and Harry Coin. We hadn't seen each other in four years, and it was great to get to spend some time with them. On Saturday night we had dinner on the deck.
After brunch at home on Sunday morning (and before the rains came) we went for a walk in Woodbury.
On Sunday evening it was raining so we ate dinner indoors at The White Horse in New Preston.
And on a beautiful Monday morning we had breakfast at Mamie's in Roxbury. I feel like these pictures make it look like all we did was eat. But the best part of the weekend was having plenty of time to catch up with our old friends and simply to enjoy the pleasure of each other's company. In other words, it was a fabulous weekend.
