Today we watched a few floats being built. The floral arrangements were breathtaking.
We talked to people we know from Racine in front of us at the float viewing. Yep, it's a small world.
This is the CalPoly float. As you can see, it's still definitely under construction. The floats are so detailed that it's a shame they don't last longer.
Today I read that each float uses more flowers than the average florist uses in five years!
In other news, Mary said the band had an all-day rehearsal today. We'll be expecting big things on Tuesday!
We met a skier last week in Vail (who works for Vail) that told us she was from a small town in Upper Michigan. Don told her he used to work with somebody from that same small town and she knew the girl! Again - small world!
