Christmas Eve is Troy's birthday. We found a great party store near their house to get her a birthday crown. But first Brad and Mary had to try on some of the merchandise.
Meanwhile a clean shaven Peter, and Kayla, were at Z Burger in D.C.
We had a birthday/Christmas Eve dinner at John and Troy's apartment.
Meanwhile Peter had dinner with Kayla's family, and a Polish dessert.
After dinner we decorated the tree.
The star is usually hard to put on, but the tree's proximity to the stairs helped out.
That is, until the star fell just as this picture was being taken.
Allie enjoyed her first Christmas Eve in Saint Louis.
After decorating the tree we walked to Mass. We'll be back in the morning to open presents!
