Tonight we enjoyed a rare weeknight outing at the ball park. The weather was warm but beautiful as the Cardinals took on (and beat) the Cubs. The stadium is so easy to get to from John and Troy's apartment. With tight time - since it was a work night - we didn't have the luxury of walking to the game. But in their neighborhood most of the bars run shuttles to the stadium. So we went to the bar across the street from where they live, ordered a beer in a to-go cup (yes, I'm serious), and having patronized the bar we were now allowed to ride its stadium shuttle. Five minutes later we were at the game!
