Brad and I started Friday in Northern California, visiting with Brad's brother Brian and his wife Candace. We all enjoyed some delicious food and wine and the chance to catch up. We stayed with them at their house in Pacific Grove (on the Monterey peninsula.)
It was a great way to start the weekend.
Brad and I drove south along the coast. The scenery was spectacular. Brad did a great job of driving the winding and long route.
Along the way we stopped at a winery in Paso Robles. We also visited a favorite brewery of John and Troy's, also in Paso Robles.
Meanwhile on the East Coast and also on Saturday, Peter was treated to a visit with Aunt Kathy and cousins Lauren and Emily (my sister Kelle's daughter).
Back on the West Coast, Brad and I had dinner at my parents' house on Sunday night.
Mom made a delicious meal.
After dinner we left for our final stop of the day, our hotel in San Diego.
But wait, there's more! Back in our nation's capitol, on Sunday the cousins and Kathy had another day together - a great punctuation to a great weekend!
