Today's the day the freshmen arrive at Stanford. (School starts Monday.) This morning Mary is welcoming them in her role as an RA in her beloved Larkin, which was her freshman dorm and will be her home again this year. She and the rest of the Larkin staff have spent the past two weeks getting ready for the freshmen (including memorizing the names/faces of all 100 of them) and today's the big day when it all starts! Two years ago she was one of those wide-eyed freshmen. Today the tables are turned and she gets to take a lucky group of freshmen under her wing at her happiest place on Earth!
