In 2006, the five of us spent the weekend in Chicago for Thanksgiving. I think this might have been the last time we did that for Thanksgiving. While we were there we shopped at a Christmas market. Here's Brad browsing one of our favorite things: Polish pottery. This year for Thanksgiving, everyone will stay close to home: Brad and I are going to spend the holiday in Phoenix with his parents and two of his brothers and their wives; Peter and Jessa will be with Jessa's family; John and Troy will have a dinner with Troy's mom; and Mary and Andy will be with Andy's family. While it's never fun not to be with the kids on a holiday, this year it's made easier by knowing that everybody will be here in a month for Christmas. Happy Thanksgiving!
