Okay, maybe I oversold. We first went to the mall to do some Christmas exchanges. I know what you're thinking: those Harrisons really know how to party. So true.
No one does an exchange quite like John does. He couldn't find the flannel shirt that he got from my parents in the right size, so he got this one instead. And he could not believe it when I pulled out my camera in Macy's. Do I know how to suprise my kids or what?
Speaking of surprises, we were all surprised to see that this food seller in the food court (known for its terrible food) had some very unfortunate lights go out in its sign. Why couldn't they have just turned out the J and the A and the P until they got the A and the N replaced? For a very long time we will ponder this question.
Our fun day continued at the cinemaplex where we saw the second - and last - of the movies in our annual Christmas movie marathon. Normally we'd see more but due to the combination of a) Peter's short break and b) a weak movie season, we just saw two. The third movie in our voting would have been 127 Hours, and I think some of us were just as glad we didn't get to the third movie.
The movie we saw was The King's Speech and I think we were all entertained and enjoyed it quite a bit. A round of thumbs up! Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Harrison for treating us to tonight's movie!
