Happy first day of March! This morning this fat little eastern bluebird (and his mate, who was less photogenic) was perched on our deck. We have been under the impression that there is a lot of natural food for birds in the area around our house, so we haven't put out bird feeders. If this guy is any indication, I think we can rest assured that the birds are well fed.
