Sap Time

The galvanized buckets on the sides of trees all around our area is, this year, not such a mystery to us!  The maple trees have taps in them to get the sap (one laborious drop at a time) to make the syrup.  This weekend and next is the time to go to see the syrup being made.  We hope to be there!  (By the way, last year around this time I did a post about the mapling process, so if you are interested in the process, I linked a few articles in that post; click here to get to that post.)
Sunday breakfast?!
By the end of our walk this morning, the sun was already fairly high and the First Congregational Church was looking gorgeous against the bright blue sky.
