Getting Closer!

We leave in two days to take Mary out to Stanford. The suitcases piling up in her room are a sign that it's getting closer. Here are two other not-so-obvious signs:



The countdown chain that Mary made this summer and hung from her ceiling used to make up two big swags. Now it's down to just two chains!



And even though there were times this summer when some of us were in doubt it would ever get done . . . last night I finished Mary's Stanford blanket!
