The Band

On Saturday before the Oregon State game, the Stanford Daily (school newspaper) filmed a short video about how the Stanford Marching Band gets ready for a game day. Mary (in the tenor sax section and wearing a yellow tie) says she's in it for something like half a second; I have watched a few times and still can't find her. (No, that's not her wearing the cheese head.) But it was still fun to see where she was and what she was doing bright and early on Saturday morning. This was their last home game of the season. They have two more regular season (away) games, then on December 2, they find out which bowl game they (and the band, which means and Mary) are headed to. Christmas plans are on hold until then!
