Peter at School

I "like" CentroNia (the school where Peter works) on Facebook, and today I found a photo of Peter in a new Facebook post about a wellness day they had at the school. Here he is! This gives me the chance to mention  Peter's great news, which is that he has been hired to be a 6th grade classroom teacher at CentroNia for next school year! He's been accepted into a fellowship program that will, over the course of the next year, allow him to become a fully certified classroom teacher. The fellowship has two components: coursework and classroom teaching. The coursework part of it starts in mid-June. He'll be in class full-time for about two months, so that by the time school starts in August he'll have a temporary certification to teach. He'll continue to take coursework at night, weekends, and holidays during the school year so that by this time next year he'll have everything he needs to apply for his certification. He couldn't be happier. And needless to say, we're super excited for him!
