John and Troy's favorite neighborhood craft beer bar, International Tap House (iTap for short) has a new branch in the Central West End neighborhood of Saint Louis. Last night they opened the doors for the first time, for friends and family only.
We got to go to the opening since ..... Troy has been hired as a server! Here she is on her very first night on the job.
Here she is with a favorite customer. I think this guy will become a regular.
Troy's mom, Esther, and Brad found some comfy seats.
The bar is on three levels. This is "the" bar, which is found on level one. They have 61 taps and 200 bottles to choose from.
There are three levels. We sat on level three. This is the view down to levels two and one.
Troy settling up her first order from her first set of customers, aka Mom and Dad.
Troy taking the order from her second set of customers, aka John, Brad, and Sue.
iTap doesn't serve food, but they let you bring in food from anywhere - from home, carried in from a restaurant, and some restaurants even deliver into the bar. John and Brad walked two doors down to a Mexican place and came back with some yummy treats for us.
We arrived early before it got crowded. By the time we left it was packed. If this is a sign of things to come, it looks like the new iTap is a winner!
They need to do what they do in Denver - Every night have a different food truck parked outside.
