Scenes From Snow Day Number One

Mary got her first snow day yesterday.  Not a drop of snow fell until early in the afternoon, but once it started it came hard and fast.  This morning we have a similar amount to what we had after the big snowfall two weeks ago (about 10 inches).

Last night Brad noticed that we must have had no wind, as the snow was piled perfectly high on the rail of the deck.

Without any formation to follow, the snow made this pretty curving design on the front of a composter.

Houses are always extra pretty in the snow.
