Super Sunday in Woodbury

The second annual Blueberry Festival, sponsored by the United Methodist Church, was small town at its finest: blueberry pie and other tasty treats, trinkets for sale, and live music on the town green.

Our friend Mark played guitar and sang as part of the live entertainment.

The festival.

A house across from the town green, where the Blueberry Festival was held. I think this is one of the prettiest houses in town.

After the festival we went on a hike to the fire tower in Woodbury, which we just learned about the other day. Allie (and Brad) led the way.

Allie and Brad on a lookout halfway through the hike.

This is the fire tower that we were walking to. While Brad waited with Allie, I climbed the stairs (80 feet up) and got to enjoy the view. Brad was going to climb after me, but a big group came behind us so we decided he'd climb the next time.

From the top on all sides, green, blue, and white as far as the eye could see.
