Fall is the time for many things, including taking the annual Christmas card photo. In October of 1996 we went to the backyard of our house on Park Place in Racine to take our picture. It doesn't take a critic to see that this one clearly belongs in the reject pile. Brad and John are trying hard but can't seem to muster a genuine smile. Peter looks like he's in some obvious discomfort on the trapeze swing. Mary can't keep her eyes open. And I'm wearing some seriously unattractive mom jeans. As photo subjects, we've definitely had better days.
Yes, that is one bad picture! Hopefully those jeans have been tossed.
