This afternoon Brad and I stopped at this store. It's pretty close to our house and we'd never been there. Once inside we learned it was a big Asian grocery store, which is usually a pretty interesting place to roam around .....
The seafood was hard core. I've never seen crawfish sold live. When I make Crawfish Étouffée it's hard to even find frozen crawfish, let alone live. (But I'll still use frozen, thankyouverymuch .....)
They had lots of whole fish. Lots.
We've seen so many beautiful Parrotfish while diving. I didn't know people ate them. Makes me sad.
Poor froggies. Soon to be someone's dinner.
There were also a lot of unusual meat offerings. This one was the most blog worthy.
We also discovered some unusual offerings in the produce section. We had never heard of Jackfruit. It's gigantic.
Though it must be tasty if it's good enough to make into a frozen dessert.
Oops, the logic of what I just said is immediately refuted. I love green beans but ..... a green bean frozen dessert? I don't think so.
In the non-food aisles there were many unusual items. This was our favorite. I'll close with a Q & A: what do you think this is?
Was this your answer? If yes then I'm impressed!
Joke's on you. Not only did I recognize the electronic fly swatter, but I've used one before.
