Sunday Brunch

This morning Brad, John, Troy and I met for brunch at a brew pub called Square One Brewery. It's in the Lafayette Square neighborhood, which is adjacent to where John and Troy live in Soulard.

At Square One they brew beer and spirits on site. For brunch the strongest drink any of us ordered was coffee, but it was still interesting to see their chart of what's brewing.

Lafayette Square is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Saint Louis. I like some of the architectural details in the buildings, including the entrance to the restaurant. (That's Brad doing his best Lucky Cat impression.)

After a filling brunch, John and Troy went home. They have a lot of work ahead of them today. They are planning to brew two batches of beer: a bitter and a stout. Living so close, we get to try their beers. The other night we tried their newest, a Simcoe Ale. It was a winner! This morning we let them get home to get brewing so we can try these new brews in a few weeks!
