Food Glorious Food

We keep eating! Today's lunch was another delicious meal in Madrid. Here's how we looked ..... and here's a sampling of how all the food looked .....


Mary's first course was an eggplant tempura. It was delicious!


Brad had gazpacho, some potatoes, and Spanish ham. Oohlala!


Not to be outdone, my first course was a beet and apple salad. More yum!


We didn't eat these, but croquettes are common here. I saw these in a shop window and took a photo.



After our big lunch and the shopping that followed, we went to the Prado and enjoyed some beautiful art.


And then we stopped at a cafe for a glass of wine. Now ..... we're back in the room, it's 9:00 p.m., and we're heading out to dinner but ..... it's raining. Rain?! What will we do now? (The answer is: eat, of course!)
