In this picture from June 13, 1997, Peter and John were going golfing in Rancho Bernardo, California with one of their first golfing buddies, their Great Uncle Harry Kelleher, also known as Uncle Kelly. When Peter was two years old, and John was just born, Uncle Kelly sent them a set of real golf clubs, cut down for a very short person. The boys started swinging a plastic club at about the age of two, and they swung those cut off clubs from the same age. They have both been golfing ever since, including many times with Uncle Kelly. I am sure that of all their childhood memories, the ones spent golfing with their nearly blind great uncle on the Oaks North Golf Course in Rancho Bernardo, are among those they hold most dear.
